A plan in place means one less thing for your family to decide
Final expenses tend to arrive all at once, during the hardest week a family can have. Putting a plan in place now gives the people you love room to grieve instead of scrambling to cover costs.

Who we help
Adults planning ahead
You've worked hard for what you have. A final expense policy can help cover funeral costs and final bills so your savings and your family's finances stay protected.
Adult children researching for a parent
Many families start the conversation on a parent's behalf. We'll walk you both through how coverage works and what to consider — the policy decision stays with your parent.

About final expense insurance
Final expense insurance — also called burial or funeral insurance — is generally a smaller whole life policy intended to help with funeral costs and other end-of-life expenses. When the insured passes, the policy pays a benefit to the beneficiaries they chose, who can use it as they see fit.
- Coverage amounts are typically modest, chosen to match expected final expenses.
- Many whole life final expense policies have premiums that do not increase with age. Terms depend on the policy.
- Some plans ask a few health questions instead of requiring a medical exam. Eligibility is determined by the insurance company during the application.
- Some plans include a waiting period before the full benefit is payable. Your agent will explain the terms of any plan you consider.
Coverage availability, benefits, premiums and underwriting vary by insurance company, state and individual eligibility. Not all applicants qualify.
